Dye Sublimation Printers

Dye Sublimation printers from Sawgrass are designed specifically for product decorating and offer some of the lowest startup costs of any product decorating technology.

Sublimation printers use a special ink and special paper to print high resolution images for transfer onto polyster based products. Using a heat process the image is transferred to a suitable substrate. The ink turns into gas when brought under heat and combines with the substrate surface. Results are permanent and are less prone to fading.

Sublimation is only suited to 100% polyster or polyster blend/coated products and light colour substrates.
