The Mutoh/STS Direct to Film (DTF) printer is the newest technology in creating full colour transfers for garment decoration. The Mutoh DTF VJ-628D system offers speeds of up to 6 square metre per hour.
Direct to Film (DTF) is a method that rivals Direct to Garment (DTG), Screen Printing, Sublimation & White Toner Printing in the production of transfers for garment decoration. Printing is onto a special coated PET film. The film is then coated with a lightweight powder adhesive that is used to adhere the transfer to the garment. The adhesive powder can be applied manually or by using an automatic powder shaker. The adhesive is then cured and is ready for normal heat transfer pressing.
At just 24 inches wide, the STS Mutoh VJ-628D fits into any size print shop. And because it’s powered by STS Inks, you can easily and quickly create custom t-shirts and apparel. This Japanese made compact printer even fits onto a table or optional rolling stand for your use.
